Yes, you can send money from your Calen personal account to a business or corporate bank account, as long as the payment is for a genuine personal purpose and not being used to operate a business through your personal Calen account.
Before you send
Make sure you enter the business details exactly as they appear on the recipient’s bank account, including:
Business or company name
Bank name
Account number or local account details
Any payment reference requested by the business
Using incorrect details can cause the transfer to be delayed, rejected or returned.
What kind of payments can I make?
Examples could include:
Paying for personal goods or services
Paying tuition or school fees
Paying a landlord or property-related bill
Paying a hospital or medical provider
Paying another legitimate business for a personal expense
What if I’m paying for business activity?
If you’re using Calen to make regular commercial payments, supplier payments or other business transactions, you may need a Calen Business account instead.
If you’re unsure which account type is right for your payment, contact Calen Support before sending.
