If your transfer shows as Completed, it means Calen has successfully sent the money through the relevant payment route to the recipient’s bank or financial institution.
The recipient’s bank may still need a little more time to process and credit the funds to their account.
Why can this happen?
Bank processing times
Some banks credit incoming payments instantly, while others may take a few hours or until the next business day.
Weekends and public holidays
The recipient’s bank may not process certain payments outside normal banking hours.
Local payment networks
Some countries and payment methods rely on local clearing systems, which can affect when the money actually appears in the recipient’s account.
Additional bank checks
The recipient’s bank may occasionally carry out its own security or compliance checks before making the funds available.
What should I do?
First, ask the recipient to:
Check their account again
Check the correct account was used
Look for any pending or incoming payments
Contact their bank if necessary
If the money still hasn’t arrived after the estimated delivery time, contact Calen Support with the transfer details.
We’ll check the payment and help investigate what’s happening.
Completed means the money has left our side, but the recipient’s bank may still be finishing the final step.
